Vancouver knows Victoria's Secret; Angel Lindsay Ellingson lands Thursday
Soft opening: check. The arrival of an Angel? That's for Thursday.
Victoria's Secret opened its Vancouver store downtown on Tuesday morning, with some customers lining up at 5 a.m. for a chance to lunge at lingerie at the space formerly reserved for HMV.
At 5 p.m. on Thursday (Aug. 29), the location will celebrate its ribbon cutting ceremony, and Victoria's Secret "Angel" Lindsay Ellingson will be on hand to take photos and welcome shoppers.
The Vancouver location is located at the corner of Robson and Burrard, and is the underwear conglomerate's second-largest store in the world at 35,000 sq. ft.
"Sparing no expense to pay homage to its glamazonian heritage, the new two-story location features a mirrored grand staircase, oversized chandeliers, and black cherry marbled flooring," reports the Huffington Post B.C.
