Experience different North Shore churches with CrossWalk services
Rev. Dr. Ross Lockhart, minister of West Vancouver United Church (left), and Rev. Dr. Peter Quek, minister of West Vancouver Baptist Church, started the ecumenical CrossWalk services in Holy Week three years ago.
The special services take place March 24 to 31:
Palm Sunday CrossWalk Service at 7 p.m. at West Van Baptist Church;
Monday CrossWalk Service at 9:30 a.m. at West Van Presbyterian Church;
Tuesday CrossWalk Service at 9:30 a.m. at West Van United Church;
Wednesday CrossWalk Service at 9:30 a.m. at St. Monica’s Anglican Church (Horseshoe Bay);
Maundy Thursday CrossWalk Service at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church;
Easter Sunday Sunrise service on the rocks at St. Francis-in-the-Wood Anglican Church, where an early morning service on the rocks (6:45 a.m.) is followed by breakfast in the parish hall.
The preacher at this year’s service is Allen Aicken.
