West Van cops net 1,400 pot plants
West Vancouver Police have seized more than 1,400 marijuana plants after a series of three grow-op busts over a 10-day period.
On May 4, police executed a search warrant at a residence in the 8500 block of Bedora Place, where they found 508 pot plants and arrested a 31-year-old male.
On May 13, a similar raid took place at a residence in the 3900 block of Viewridge Place, where police seized 615 marijuana plants. Two 43-year-olds from Burnaby both face charges in relation to that operation.
The following day (May 14) a third search warrant was executed in the 1300 Block of Ottawa Place, where West Vancouver Police seized an additional 300 marijuana plants.
To date no arrests have been made, but Cpl. Jag Johal said Monday that the file is still under active investigation.
