DNV launches snow report Twitter feed
With dangerous driving conditions caused by the recent blast of winter weather, the District of North Vancouver has launched a Twitter feed dedicated to updating road conditions.
The real-time feed will also provide regular updates on the snow team's street-clearing efforts.
During the cold months, district residents are reminded to park their cars in driveways and not on the streets to allow snow ploughs and salt spreaders to pass by. It is also recommended to drive only if your car is properly equipped with good snow tires and to use public transportation as much as possible.
Follow the Districts feed at twitter.com/DNV_snow or go to dnv.org/snow for the most up to date weather reports.
