Lynn Valley man, 64, is missing
A North Vancouver man is missing and family and friends are worried for his well-being.
James (Jim) Parent was last seen by family on Sunday, Feb 5 but hasn't been in contact with them since.
Parent lives in the 4000 block of Lynn Valley Road in North Vancouver district. His family said he suffers from depression and because of his condition, police are asking the public to be on the lookout for him.
North Vancouver RCMP said that checks of Parent's known hangouts and social contacts have proven negative. Parent does not own a cell phone.
The 64-year-old man is described as Caucasian, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 209 pounds with blue eyes and greying hair.
The North Van Mounties said they don't know what Parent was wearing when he disappeared.
“The family is deeply concerned as to his whereabouts and emotional health,” said Cpl. Richard De Jong of the North Vancouver RCMP.
If Parent is seen by the public, they are asked to call the North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311.
