Hundreds of plants seized in North Van grow-op
Hundreds of marijuana plants have been seized in the City of North Vancouver from what police are calling a sophisticated grow op.
At 2 a.m. on May 25, the North Vancouver RCMP responded to a domestic violence complaint in the 600 block of East 21st Street.
Shortly upon arrival at the home, the Mounties discovered in excess of 300 plants in a detached garage on the property, according to the North Van RCMP.
Charges have not yet been recommended in the case but police are pursuing investigations into the suspected production of a controlled substance and the possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Anyone with information on this investigation is asked to call the North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
